At GFCCI, we believe in the power of community and the importance of education. We are conducting this Back to School Drive to support Dumfries Elementary School, a Title I institution in Dumfries, Virginia, serving a diverse and deserving student body. Our goal is to alleviate the financial burdens on families by providing essential school supplies, clothing, and shoes.

By ensuring every student has the resources they need to succeed, we aim to create a thriving learning environment where every kid is empowered to learn.  Together, we can significantly impact the lives of these young learners and their educational journey.

We need all school supplies and donations by December 31, 2024.

Here are some answers to frequently asked questions.

Dumfries Elementary, a Title I school, has significant needs for school supplies, shoes, and clothes. The most used school supplies include composition notebooks, glue sticks, pencil boxes, and 24-count crayons. For clothing, there is a high demand for coats (especially in winter), pants, and shirts of all sizes.

Yes, monetary donations are greatly appreciated! Funds will be utilized to purchase the school supplies needed.

Your donations will directly support the students of Dumfries Elementary by providing essential school supplies and clothing, thus reducing the financial burden on families.

Ways To Participate

  • Purchase through our Walmart list. 

  • Purchase school supplies and drop off at GFCCI. Address: 3985 Prince William Pkwy, Suite 105,  Woodbrigde, VA 22192. Please contact us at infogfcci@gr8tfaithcc.org or 445-237-3293 before stopping by. 

  • Help us bring comfort to children in need by donating funds and/or coats for the cooler month. Every $1 donated warms one person. Deadline is December 31, 2024 donate here.

  • Donate funds through Tithly. Please put " school drive" in the memo section when giving.
